Flower Passage
This arcade which was built as the shopping
arcade having 24 shops and 16 residences was opened to pubic as the city of Pera.
Due to relocation of Flower Growing and Selling corporation and flower auctions
held there in 1930's, this arcade was renamed as the "Flower Market".
Infused by the beer houses and restaurants, Flower Passage collapsed due to
neglect. restored to its former glory due to efforts of arcade association and
municipality.
Galatasaray School
Galatasray High School, one of the most
respected high schools of Istanbul admitted its first students in 1868. This
great institution became a window to the west
